Helping hands in creating our website:

Many people have generously given time or services to help us build and maintain this website.

The website has been built by wave, a worker co-operative based in Hastings. Their clients include the National Archives, the Royal Geographic Society, Leonard Cheshire Disability, the Co-operative Group, the TUC and EveryChild.   www.wave.coop

The website is hosted by www.ecologicalhosting.coman ethically run, reliable and responsible Internet hosting company. They are a friendly and growing business providing green, environmentally sound, eco friendly, renewable energy powered hosting services with a personal touch, and they are always incredibly helpful.

Lots of the great photos - the slideshow photos on the home page, for instance - were taken by Ros Gasson from Edinburgh. Ros is hugely experienced at taking pictures of community music groups as well as being an accomplished still life photographer. Visit her site at www.photography-scotland.com

Much of the design and content of the website has been created by Ali Burns from Castle Douglas: www.aliburns.co.uk

The Look After Your Voice page was written by Alexander Massey from Oxford: www.authenticvoice.co.uk/alexander-massey.html

The website has been proofread and tested by NVPN member Sarah Pennington. Sarah also proofreads music. You can contact her at dangswang@gmail.com

Caroline Bithell from Manchester generously donated time to take and edit videos. Her book on the rise of the Natural Voice community in Britain will be published in 2013 and some of the inspirational quotes on the website are taken from that text.  caroline.bithell@manchester.ac.uk

Song of the Month

The Cotelands Croydon Lullaby

The words and tune for this song were written by the young mums (age 14-16yrs) as part of CRISP's Positive Activities for Young People project with teenage mums and mums-to-be.

Teenage mums get a bad reputation in the UK but this wonderful specialist Pupil Referral Unit has places for 40 babies, and most mums become responsible mothers, retaining care of their infants and going on to achieve well educationally.

For more info please contact CRISP Co-ordinator Catherine Pestano: catherine@naturalvoice.net
