Camilo Menjura is a Colombian musician based in the UK, and director of the ‘Landscapes of Latin-America Choir’. He will be leading an energetic and engaging workshop focused on harmonies, rhythms and melodies of some traditional tunes from Latin America & Spain.
During the day, Camilo will lead us into exploring some of the most representative and contrasting styles of Latin American folk music, adapted to choirs and playing with groove and harmony. We will also learn a specific SATB tune.
· There is no need to speak Spanish to do the workshop.
· Everything will be taught by ear.
Everyone is welcome!
