An exhilarating day of acapella singing for anyone who wants to sing – whether you think you can or not! This workshop will focus on short, quick-to-learn songs for instant rewards and maximum fun. Originally designed so that regular singers could encourage their friends and relatives to have a go at harmony singing, the Relatively Harmonious workshops have proved to be popular with new and experienced singers alike. Whether you come along with a friend, a relative or on your own, this is an opportunity just to sing your socks off! If you have a favourite short Singing for Larks song you’d like to sing again – let me know before the day and I’ll try to include it.
We shall be singing in the light, airy, main room of Bolton Abbey village hall, which has excellent facilities and good access for disabled people. The really exciting thing about this venue is its location: only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful River Wharfe and the stunning ruins of the Priory. Make sure you don’t have to hurry off afterwards, as a post-sing wander along the river would be the ideal end to the day, and maybe even a dip!
The hall, with its own free car park, is just off the B6160, 5 minutes from the A59, between Skipton (7 miles) and Harrogate (17 miles). NB. From the A 6160, turn left towards the village shop / post office , then the village hall car park is just beyond the shop.
