The Embodied Voice is a practice developed by Kate Smith combining singing, movement & mindfulness.
This event is happening over two days – come to either or both!
Day 1: The Voice & Body Connection
Focus on embodiment, somatics, anatomy and voice technique
Day 2: Movement & Vocal Improvisation
Focus: The implications of moving while singing, and bringing this into collaborative vocal improvisation
Throughout both days there will be mindfulness practices, group singing, journaling, discussion, nature walks, potluck lunches, and plenty of tea and biscuits.
