Vocal Improvisation – Stroud

19 Mar 2026

7.15pm—9.15pm

The Trinity Rooms, Stroud

Every two weeks a group of Co-improvisers gather at The Trinity Rooms in Stroud.  If you love to sing – and long to entice your inner singer out to play – then this could be for you!

  • Thursdays 7.15 – 9.15 pm
  • 5th March (different venue tbc) and 19th March
  • 2nd April

Expect gentle warm-ups, laughter and vocal surprises, all gently channelled into the song of the moment through our collective imagination.  Musical play-forms that naturally bring rhythm, harmony & melody into spontaneous song are the basis of the practice.  It’s always your choice – you can be part of trios, quartets and quintets as well as taking a solo … and be part of a group that learns to listen deeply, and express itself collaboratively.

Drawing from the teachings of Rhiannon (Vocal River), Briony Greenhill (Wild Voice Solid Roots), Guillermo Rozenthuler (Singing Village), and Musica Do Circulo from Brazil, we create a vocal flow to include everyone, however they choose to take part.

You are warmly invited to come and join us!
