Celebrating World Voice Day, join NVN song sharer Dr Catherine Pestano as she shares reflections and songlets about her past and current work with singing and wellbeing. Most recently this involves a free Sing and Stroll project in nature. Current and past work includes inpatient and community singing with people with dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s, mental health needs, COPD, learning disability and more.
The group meets in an accessible space in South London and is open to those from the LGBTQ community who are near enough to become part of the community. Even from Croydon, as it is fairly easy to get there, hence Catherine is going along. All of our voices are precious. Come and learn to celebrate yours.
(No one has to sing though if you don’t want to). There is a small charge donated to the project. Please contact the project to book. lgbt@furzedownproject.org
