Description

Gloucester community choir with a focus on folk songs and seasonal songs. We meet in the Friends Meeting house which has a gorgeous sound with lots of lovely wood!

Gloucester Folk Choir have been singing together since Feb 2023, we sing folk and folk leaning songs from a variety of traditions. We perform at local/low key events semi-regularly as a way of bedding in the songs and sharing them with the wider community.

We learn the songs and have fun as we go, the group is about 20 strong at the moment and is lovely and welcoming, everyone is really friendly. Songs are playfully taught and explored with Sorrels guidance and support.

Voice technique is embedded in each practice, gently encouraging greater resonance and harmonic beauty.

Payment is £6-10 per session, cash or card at the start of the session or as a block in advance.
