Threading Voices

Your voice. Our harmony.

Welcome to Threading Voices. This is an invitation to step away from the day-to-day and immerse yourself in singing in harmony with other adults.

Humans have always sung. To celebrate, to grieve, to bring rhythm and joy to work, to connect and to belong. There is something about singing together that can bring us back into the present and remind us what it feels like to be part of something.

And there is a particular joy in weaving our voices together to hear something emerge that none of us could have created alone.

We gather in a circle and learn songs by ear, with a particular focus on learning and building three- and four-part harmonies. We draw from different styles, cultures and traditions, including folk, gospel and songs inspired by nature, connection and community.

There’s no need to read music, no audition and no pressure to perform. Come as you are. Bring the voice you have today.

Threading Voices begins this October

Come and sing with us at Sage Yoga Studio. Friendly, welcoming singing circle for adults, with songs taught by ear and no previous singing experience needed.
