Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a choir outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Riversong

Location

Wickham Hall, 23 Ashburton Rd, Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot TQ13 9YQ

Description

Riversong has been established in its current form for six years and is currently a small, friendly group of up to 15 singers.

We sing songs from around the world and closer to home, with sumptuous harmonies and extra challenging parts for those who want them. I find that even inexperienced singers can sing harmonies within a supportive group.

We perform occasionally. We are soon to join forces with two other choirs to sing in Dartington Great Hall. This will be a really fun event with a seasonal feel.

Bath Road, Nailsworth, Glos GL6 0HH

Description

Roots & Shoots – A Multigenerational Singing Group

Come and be part of a joyful, inclusive singing community where voices of all ages come together. We’ll explore a rich mix of celebratory songs, soulful laments, catchy ditties, uplifting sea shanties, and music inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Our repertoire includes community songs alongside traditional and contemporary folk from the UK and across the globe, sung in simple 2- and 3-part harmonies. Expect plenty of fun too, with circle singing, rhythm games, and playful vocal activities that everyone can join in.

This daytime group is perfect for anyone who loves to sing in a relaxed, welcoming space. Whether you’re looking to connect with others across generations or simply want to learn songs to take home, you’ll find a place here. Families are warmly welcomed: the session leans towards songs that engage children while still being enjoyable for adults.

Children, tweens, and teens are welcome to join in (or simply listen), and there will be a space for quiet play and crafting, just bring a responsible adult along. While younger children are very welcome, we ask that they’re able to settle so the group can stay focused on the shared singing experience.

No auditions, no pressure, and no need to read music—we learn everything by ear, with lyrics provided when helpful.
