Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, you will be able to narrow down your search by postcode (or by zooming in on the map.)

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing

Soulful Singing Circle

Woodway Close, Teignmouth, Devon

Harmony singing in circle.

Session times

Weekly sessions run in my home in Teignmouth Wednesdays 7.15 - 9pm. Maximum number 20 so weekly reservation is required. Email for more information.

We sing simple rounds and harmonies of a spiritual nature in a meditative atmosphere, with an emphasis on immersing ourselves in the sound. I increasingly choose themes for each session which are connected with the natural world e.g. celebrating the seasons.

Singing online is different from in-person, though enjoyable in its own way. The benefits are still the joy of singing with others (even if you can’t hear them) and using your body, breath and voice to centre you. Many have said they are more confident to sing out as no-one else can hear them!

All are welcome and each session stands alone, though one of the wonderful things about singing is how it brings complete strangers together very quickly.

Email me for the Zoom link.

Session times

Third Sunday of the month 7.15-8.45pm

Sound and Song: Burnham

Burnham Park Hall, Windsor Lane, Burnham, SL1 7HR

Sound and Song Burnham follows the Singing Mamas model of community group singing . Our project is fully funded and our focus is on perinatal wellbeing, but any new mum is welcome. Join us to learn simple and beautiful tunes, connect with fellow lovely mamas, relax with a cuppa, all while the little ones bask in the glorious vibrations from singing.

  • Time to connect with mums and other women in the group.
  • Singing like the birds sing, without a care in the world.
  • New songs to learn and take home and sing to your little ones.
  • Online songs for you to access after the session.
  • Access to Facebook ‘Singing Mamas’ support group.
  • Homemade cake and a cuppa on us!
  • Maternal wellbeing

At Singing Mamas groups mums are the centre of attention. We will always greet you by your first name, not just as your precious one’s mum. We believe a healthy and happy mum makes a healthy and happy baby (and family).

“Group singing with other mums is associated with greater decreases in the stress hormone cortisol than any other social interactions” –

Sounding It Out

Gloucester Rd, Trowbridge BA14 0AA
Sheppards Barton

Sounding It Out was established by legendary Wiltshire singing leader Candy Verney in 2008. Candy moved to Ireland in 2015 to start a singing centre in Ireland: since then, the group has been led by Caroline Radcliffe.
We are a friendly crowd, with singers coming from all over west Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol. We come from a diversity of musical backgrounds. Some have never sung before, while others have lots of experience: we embrace everyone! We have a good deal of fun, as well as working on a high standard of performance. We sing a range of songs: modern, traditional, and songs from other countries.
We love to perform! You can hear us at charity, community and other events in Wiltshire, Bath and beyond. We occasionally host choirs from other countries, as well as make return visits. We hosted a choir from Czech Republic in October 2013, and made a return trip in Oct 2014. We visited a choir in Mallorca in 2018. We have at least one weekend away together during the year, and may also be seen intermittently at various skittle alleys and pubs in the local area.
