Singing sessions for all, with a focus on fun and well-being.
I love to sing, and I want to share my joy of singing and its benefits with you. I believe everyone should have an opportunity to raise their natural voice in a non-judgemental environment. Everyone can sing!
I trained with Frankie Armstrong and Sarah Harman as a Natural Voice singing leader.
As a qualified teacher, I have facilitated singing with children and young people, including those who have learning and physical disabilities. In residential and day care settings, I have run singing sessions for adults with learning disabilities, mental ill-health, dementia and other health issues, including Singing for the Brain.
Fully inclusive, relaxed and friendly singing, focussing on developing confidence in our natural voices, with no judgement. Everything is taught by ear.
Come and sing for the pure joy of it in this relaxed and friendly group.
Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary as everything is taught by listening and repeating.
We sing a cappella (unaccompanied) call and response, rounds and harmony songs from a variety of genres and cultures. Join us and sing to feel good.
We have a little break for a chat in the middle of our singing. Please bring your own hot drink. Biscuits are provided!
Thursdays 10.15-11.45am in term time
