Singing
I run two community choirs in the Coggeshall, a small town between Chelmsford and Colchester in North Essex.
I also work with the organisation Find Your Voice as a community singing facilitator, leading singing programmes for adults with learning disabilities and in women’s refuges.
More recently, I trained as a Sing4Health practitioner with The Voice College and am beginning to lead groups in this area.
I taught secondary music for 16 years so also bring this experience to my practice.
Coggeshall Voices is a fun and friendly community choir that meets on Friday mornings in Coggeshall. All are welcome, there is no need for prior experience or reading music as all songs are taught by ear. We sing a range of music, from traditional to pop classics, musicals and everything in between, with a focus on singing for health and well-being. We take part in local performances a few times each year.
Friday mornings in term time, 10-11:30am
Voices with Verve is a fun and friendly singing group that meets weekly in Coggeshall on Thursday evenings. All are welcome, and there is no need for prior experience or reading music as all songs are taught by ear. We sing a range of music, from traditional to pop classics, and everything in between, and perform a few times a year at local events.
Thursday evenings in term time, 7:45-9:30pm
