I’ve loved singing since I was a child. And I love to help people to connect to their own voice and enjoy how it feels to sing. I trained classically and started my journey by singing in choral choirs, then I explored other genres by joining every type of band and choir that I could to explore using my voice in many different ways; rock, folk, choral, jazz, musical theatre. I trained as a teacher and led music in schools and then I trained as a Community Musician, specialising in acapella group singing. I decided to set up community singing groups from a  desire to make singing accessible to everyone and a nurturing experience for all. My adult singing group explores rounds, chants and part songs of mixed genres, taught mainly by ear and gesture. My parent and baby groups help adults to bond with and sing to their little ones through seasonal songs and rhythmic rhymes. I also help to run a climate choir in the Wye Valley. I’ve started to compose songs for choirs. Which I’m also loving! I welcome you to come and try one of my groups!
