A small, friendly singing group with the emphasis on fun and wellbeing rather than perfection or performance. You don’t need to be able to read music, as songs are taught by ear. You just need to be prepared to have a go and get it wrong! We sing mainly in English, with some Welsh and other languages but I try  not to let words get in the way of the singing – La is always an option!  We sing a varied repertoire, usually in parts (harmony) and many rounds, and we sing unaccompanied. You don’t have to come every week and you are very welcome to come along and just see if you enjoy it. Everyone is welcome.

A monthly vocal improvisation group.

You will be led in varied activities which explore the versatility of your voice and how to use it with creativity and musicality.

We co-lead the group with gentleness and joy in order to foster safety and confidence in every singer. We realise that improvising can be scary and never pressurise anyone.

You will not be taught songs, have to learn a part or be singing existing songs. We don’t perform.

Anyone is welcome but being able to keep a beat and sing in tune is desirable.

Charge: £ 8 – £ 10 (or what you can afford) per session.
