Mamas Voices is an inclusive singing group created for women and mamas who need some time to focus on themselves.
It’s a relaxed, informal space where you can bring your little ones. They can watch and listen as we grown-ups get to:
We mostly sing acapella and songs are taught by ear. We don’t use sheet music, so everyone learns at the same pace.
We’re not part of a franchise so we can sing whatever we want to.
Our songs are from all over the world and any genre. We choose songs that sound good and are fulfilling to sing.
Fridays in term time - 11.30-12.30
Lunchtime inclusive singing group is open to all – you don’t need to work at the OU, we’re open to staff, students and friends.
We believe everyone can sing, so there are no auditions, you don’t need to be able to read music or have experience of singing in a choir – it’s all about getting together, experiencing the buzz of singing in a group and having fun.
We sing a mix of songs, old and new from near and far, and all songs are taught by ear.
Tuesday lunchtimes in term time from 1-2pm
