Community Choir in 3 and 4 part harmony, singing workshops on request, big sings for charity.
Catherine runs a community choir in Taunton – Wood Street Choir – and bespoke singing workshops. She has been leading choirs for 14 years and enjoys providing opportunities for individuals to gain confidence in singing groups through their friendly, joyful and supportive atmospheres. She teaches songs from different traditions such as folk, gospel, African or pop, in 3 and 4 part harmony. She also runs improvisation workshops.
Wood Street Choir is a friendly, welcoming choir run open to all – no auditions. The choir is run by Catherine, and her inclusive style allows everyone to feel at ease and contribute their best. She also likes to help people to improve their technique. We sing all types of songs – African, folk, gospel, pop, East European and more, in unaccompanied 4-part harmony.
Monday evenings in term time 7.30 - 9.15pm
