Unaccompanied (a cappella) folk harmony from around the world; shapenote/Sacred Harp; men singing
Voicemale is a men’s harmony singing group that happens on Wednesday evenings on the South Side of Glasgow and performs fairly regularly. It meets in a church hall but is not a religious group. It was started by Finn’s Place at Langside Parish Church but moved out and went independent in 2026. Men of all and any levels of singing experience are welcome. We learn by ear, you don’t need to read music, it’s for fun.
Wednesday 7.30–9.30pm
Songs from around the world in easy unaccompanied harmony, often in foreign languages, in an informal, lively, supportive atmosphere. Whatever your background and experience, you are welcome at Voicebeat. There’s no audition and you don’t need to be able to read music, as the songs are taught by ear. You don’t have to join at the start of term, you can come along at any time.
Monday 7–9pm (including bank holidays)
