Pop and rock choirs, community choirs, learning by ear
I am a choir conductor in Bristol specialising in accessible pop and rock choirs. I strongly believe that music is for everyone, so aim to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at rehearsals! I run Dynamics Choir in Nailsea and Pill Community Choir. I also lead choirs for Riff Raff, The Raff Pack, Good Afternoon Choir, Big Friendly Choir and Choirs For Good in Bristol. I also create arrangements for mixed voices and lower voices. A number of these are available to use – please contact me for more information.
Dynamics Choir is Nailsea’s pop and rock choir singing fun songs in amazing harmony! No auditions, no need to read music, just uplifting and inspiring singing for all.
Rehearsals take place Wednesdays (term time), 7:30 – 9:30 pm at Nailsea Methodist Church. We are a fun, relaxed group who host regular socials, perform locally, and support charities.
Wednesday evenings 7:30 - 9:30pm
Pill Community Choir are a warm and friendly group who meet on Tuesday evenings 7.45 – 9.15 at Pill Community Centre. We learn songs in harmony by ear, so no need to read music and no auditions. We also perform in the local area and raise money for charity.
Tuesday evenings 7:45 - 9:15
We are a Bristol male voice choir who enjoy a bit of beer and banter. We sing mainly rock and pop, with some sea shanties, barbershop and folk songs thrown in for good measure. We’re taught and conducted by the excellent Dan Pate. Come and join The Raff Pack, Bristol’s friendliest male singing group.
Alternate Sundays, 7:30 - 9:30pm
