Additional information

I run 6 choirs in the Highlands and Moray.  I trained in theatre/voice and movement at Dartington College of Arts, and have over 40 years’ experience as a drama teacher, theatre practitioner,  healer, musician and choir leader.

My focus is on the healing qualities of  the voice and singing together, as well as performance. I recently trained in Singing for lung health and Qi Gong and I like to specialise in the use of the breath.

I use songs from around the world, as well as creative vocal improvisation.

Just Sing

We recognise the importance of singing together in a group and how beneficial the creative and social aspects are to you while still having lots of fun!

Just Sing is a mixed voice a cappella (voices only) harmony singing group where you’ll learn uplifting songs from around the world.

The repertoire of music learned spans gospel, traditional folk, pop, world music as well as inspirational contemporary compositions. In addition to learning a variety of songs, the group includes breathing and voice exercises to help develop the power quality and range of the voice.
