Inclusive and welcoming natural voice group leadership in Worcestershire and Herefordshire
Sarah Rowe loves to sing! She also loves to lead others in learning songs and singing in glorious and uplifting harmony.
Sarah has been leading Natural Voice singing with children and adults in her local area in south Worcestershire since 2016. Sarah truly believes singing with others makes us happier, more able to manage life’s challenges and at peace within ourselves. She has a great love of the Natural Voice approach and its ability to bring singing to people who would otherwise not dare to sing, or feel they do not have the right to sing because they aren’t “good at it”.
There are so many fabulous rounds and part-harmony songs in the world to sing! Sarah’s choices each month include traditional songs from the past, songs from other cultures in other languages from around the world, and also the wonderful songs of the wide-ranging natural voice canon written by contemporary community songwriters.
Sarah’s groups are always welcoming, supportive and great fun. Her success as a Natural Voice leader comes about because of her own evident and contagious enthusiasm for singing in this wonderful way; because she is able to create a warm, friendly, safe space where even the most uncertain singers can find their voice; and because of her ability to teach with confidence, clarity, energy and humour.
Sarah leads three monthly natural voice harmony singing groups called Harmony Tribe in Hanley Swan near Great Malvern, south Worcestershire, in Putley near Ledbury, south-east Herefordshire, and in Tupsley, Hereford. You can find out venue-specific details for these groups on Sarah’s NVN choir listings. You can follow Sarah’s groups on Facebook here: @harmonytribesinging
Sarah lives in Castlemorton in south Worcestershire with her family. She loves walking in the Malvern Hills and singing loudly when she gets to the top! When she isn’t doing stuff related to singing or family life, Sarah finds occasional hours here and there to draw pictures of an illustrative nature and write stories.
