Inclusive and welcoming Natural Voice group leadership in Worcestershire and Herefordshire

Additional information

Sarah Rowe just loves to sing, and to lead others in learning songs and singing in glorious and uplifting harmony!

Sarah has been leading Natural Voice singing with children and adults in her local area in south Worcestershire since 2016. Sarah truly believes singing with others makes us happier, more able to manage life\\\’s challenges and at peace within ourselves. She has a great love of the Natural Voice approach and its ability to bring singing to people who would otherwise not dare to sing, or feel they do not have the right to sing because they aren\\\’t \\\’good at it\\\’.

Sarah\\\’s groups are always welcoming and supportive, regardless of ability or experience. Neither a trained singer nor a brilliant one, Sarah\\\’s success as a Natural Voice leader comes about because of three things: her own evident enjoyment of singing in this wonderful way; her ability to create a warm, friendly, safe space where even the most uncertain singers can find their voice; and her ability to teach with confidence, clarity, enthusiasm and humour.

Sarah leads two monthly groups for adults called \\\’Sing for the Seasons\\\’: one on a Saturday evening at Castlemorton Parish Hall, south Worcestershire, and the other other in the Lady Emily Community Hall in Tarrington (from September in Putley), south-east Herefordshire. Sarah lives in Castlemorton with her family. She loves walking in the Malvern Hills and singing loudly when she gets to the top! She also enjoys planning and leading creative workshops with her small enterprise The Art Room: www.theartroomworkshops.co.uk

Sing for the Seasons – Herefordshire
Description

‘Sing for the Seasons’ is a lovely, welcoming and warm Natural Voice singing group which meets once a month on a Sunday evening in south-east Herefordshire.

Singing leader and Natural Voice enthusiast Sarah Rowe is happy to welcome everyone – from experienced singers to total beginners – in learning and singing a wide variety of seasonal rounds and part-harmony songs in a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere.

No reading from written music, no accompaniment, no solos or performances: just wonderful songs, learnt then and there and sung in gorgeous harmony in the moment. A joyful and uplifting experience for everyone.

At ‘Sing for the Seasons’ there is an emphasis on relaxation, enjoyment and personal nourishment; Sarah aims to create a safe and supportive space where everyone can grow in confidence in sharing their voices in harmony, and where the benefits to our well-being of singing together in glorious harmony can be felt.
