Inclusive and welcoming Natural Voice group leadership in Worcestershire and Herefordshire

Additional information

Sarah Rowe just loves to sing! She also loves to lead others in learning songs and singing in glorious and uplifting harmony.

Sarah has been leading Natural Voice singing with children and adults in her local area in south Worcestershire since 2016. Sarah truly believes singing with others makes us happier, more able to manage life’s challenges and at peace within ourselves. She has a great love of the Natural Voice approach and its ability to bring singing to people who would otherwise not dare to sing, or feel they do not have the right to sing because they aren’t “good at it”.

Sarah’s groups are always welcoming and supportive, regardless of ability or experience. Neither a trained singer nor a brilliant one, Sarah’s success as a Natural Voice leader comes about, she thinks, because of her own evident and contagious enthusiasm for singing in this wonderful way; because she is able to create a warm, friendly, safe space where even the most uncertain singers can find their voice; and because of her ability to teach with confidence, clarity, enthusiasm and humour.

Sarah leads two monthly groups for adults called Sing for the Seasons, one in Castlemorton, south Worcestershire, and the other in Putley, south-east Herefordshire. She is also starting a new singing group for adults and accompanied teens called Harmony Tribe in Tupsley, Hereford, in May 2024.

Sarah also organises and leads special seasonal charity fundraising singing events throughout the year at Colwall Village Hall near Great Malvern: this year ‘Sing For The Summer’ in June, ‘Sing For Peace 2024’ in November and ‘Sing For The Solstice 2024’ in December, all bookable through Eventbrite.

Sarah lives in Castlemorton with her family. She loves walking in the Malvern Hills and singing loudly when she gets to the top! She also enjoys planning and leading creative workshops with her small enterprise The Art Room.
