Choir leading in Devon, harmony singing - day workshops and retreats, song writing for choirs
Emily Roblyn is a Canadian born singer and composer, who has made her home in Devon, UK. She has been a member of the Natural Voice Network and running choirs for over 23 years.
She performs, leads choirs, runs day workshops across the country, leads sold-out singing retreats at Sharpham House, as well as offering private voice lessons.
Her warmth and enthusiasm for sharing the blessings of singing together shines through in all her teaching, and her beautiful, original, harmony songs are favourites in many choirs.
Her book “Songs of Courage and Grace” – has sold out!
But many of the songs in the book as well as many other fantastic NEW songs of Emily’s can be purchased individually on her website.
Some of her most well-known songs include: Hold You In Our Circle, Fire In My Heart, This Is A Wave, Earth’s Child, Lift Your Voice, Now Is The Time.
Spectrum is Devon’s first choir for LGBTQ+ people (and our friends and family) who enjoy singing.
We are an inclusive and welcoming community choir – there is no audition and you don’t need to read music. We perform a few times a year but our main aims are to have fun together, to sing uplifting songs and to build and celebrate our community.
Cost is £8 – £10 (self determined sliding scale) – please ask if you require a further concession
We have drop-in sessions once a term – so get in touch if you’d like to come along to try singing with us!
Tuesday evenings in term time - 7:30 to 9:30pm
