Additional information

An artist based in East London exploring what it means to be human, my personal work has existed alongside years of therapy and helped me process some of my childhood trauma and gain a better understanding of who I am.

I channel this knowledge and passion into Balancing Aces (Bethnal Green) a vocal improvisation group who through singing games and exercises discover a little bit more about themselves, this is offered on an ad hoc workshop basis.

I run a community singing group called Bethnal Green Voices we meet weekly on Wednesdays at St Margaret’s House and singing events (generally tied in with the seasons) across London including Nollaig na mBan, Wassailing, Earth Day, Equinox etc

I am currently midway through a BMus degree in Performance and Production, collaborating with other musicians and performing.

I love to work with new singers to help them build confidence and find their voice and develop more established singers by opening them up to vocal improvisation.

Balancing Aces Vocal Improvisation
Description

Balancing Aces is a vocal exploration into what it means to be human. It is improvisation singing to connect us to those emotions and feelings we may be unable to fully acknowledge. We delve inwards through sounds, words, breath and movement. Together we welcome in and sit beside that which arises – euphoria, sadness, self-appreciation, enjoyment, silliness, anger, grief – feelings that naturally exist, allowing a compassionate space to observe, free from judgement.

Workshops happen throughout the year please reach out for further information.
