A life time of singing and leading vocal groups of all kinds from ages 5 to 95, and ‘never sung’ to formal choral groups. I run workshops, singing weekends, ‘Come and sing’ events and Festival of Voices for Oxfordshire primary schools – all using an eclectic repertoire. I have attended Sing to beat Parkinson’s training events and set up a group in Banbury in 2018 alongside a Singing for Wellbeing group.

To keep my own voice in trim I belong to the Dartington Community Choir and launched my first intensive Singing Weekend there in October 2022.

I originated the Voiceworks series of singing handbooks for leaders and singers and am compiling a new book of rounds – SingCircle –  published by OUP in 2023.

I am passionate about encouraging people to enjoy finding and using their voices together, exploring their potential and supporting them to become confident singers and leaders.
