Additional information

I am a musician, singing for health leader and educator with over 20 years’ experience leading group singing, voice work and choir-based experiences for adults in community, health and educational settings.

I specialise in creating accessible, engaging sessions where people can connect, gain confidence and experience the benefits of singing regardless of prior experience. My work includes singing and breath-based sessions for wellbeing, informed by my background as a meditation tutor, with a particular sensitivity to groups with diverse needs and varying energy levels.

I have trained in Singing for Lung Health, COPD, Parkinson’s and dementia, and I draw on this to adapt sessions safely and flexibly, including for those experiencing breathlessness, fatigue or anxiety around the voice.

I have delivered workshops and training for organisations including the NHS, MENCAP, Refugee Action, the British Red Cross and Kingston University, where I have also been an occasional lecturer. I have experience working in both community and healthcare settings, including within social prescribing.

Alongside my practical work, I contribute to training and research in music and wellbeing, and I am an Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health.
