Additional information

I work as a holistic voice coach, composer, workshop and choir leader. I trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama first as a jazz vocalist and then on the Mmus Leadership course. Since 2009 I have been leading creative workshops in a range of contexts from psychiatric units to abandoned cinemas, from orchestral halls to farms in the U.K. and places including: India, West Africa, Indonesia, Singapore, Ireland, Japan and Bosnia.

In 2018 I founded Voice Yoga UK, a practice which aims to guide people towards stillness and self-reflection using a blend of vocal techniques and mindfulness. Voice Yoga brings together my expertise as a singer along with my experience of working therapeutically with music and teaching yoga. I have spent much time in India over the years studying Hindustani singing under renowned vocalist Priya Purshothaman and exploring Indian philosophy.

Improvisation and facilitating connection through singing is at the core of my work. Voice Yoga is dedicated to helping people realise the full potential of their voices as a tool for healing, spiritual fulfilment and nurturing wellbeing.
