Greetings, all — I am a voice coach, singer/songwriter, community song leader, speaker, and author living in a small river town in Wisconsin, USA.

Most of my work focuses on voice coaching and training using my Full Voice method. I wrote two books on the work: Full Voice and Vocal Intelligence. Both are based on my approach to voice that uses the elements of earth, fire, water, metal, and air to open up more flexibility, power, and pleasure in singing, speaking, and living.

I am now training people to carry this work. There are currently 20 Full Voice coaches and 55 Full Voice trainers around the world with more lining up for training.

For the past 30 years, I have been gathering ordinary folks to sing in circle — no paper, no performance, no perfection. I am the “matriarch” of this kind of singing in Minnesota — which is now the hub of the beautiful Singing Resistance movement. I’ve written dozens of easily learned community songs, some of which are on my website.

I’ve also released 9 solo recordings of my music, which has been described as acoustic, jazz-inflected, and positive without being smarmy.
