I’m really excited to be running a series of workshops in 2024, which I’ve named ‘Saturday Sings’. For each workshop, I’ve invited a fantastic guest choir composer, and we will take it in turns to teach our own original SATB harmony songs. Who knows, you could be the first group of singers to ever sing this material!

PRICE? £45 standard rate, inc lunch, teas, coffees and cakes. (Low Income/Higher Earner options available).
All are welcome! We are Natural Voice Network leaders and all songs will taught by ear so there is no need to read music.

What better way to finish our Saturday Sings workshops series than to be taught by the wonderful Helen Yeomans as guest composer.
About Helen:
If you sing in a community choir you’ve probably sung Helen’s music – her songs have travelled far and wide in the twenty years she’s been directing & writing for choirs.
Arriving at her musical career in her late thirties, Helen draws on a wealth of life experiences and observations to create moving and uplifting compositions, focusing on what connects us rather than what divides. Her songs have been taught & performed all around the world and in 2015 Helen was a prize winner in the UK Songwriting Contest for her song ’Saved’.
At this workshop Helen will bring songs old and new, bringing her singers together and drawing out the best in each and every one.
