If you haven’t been to Hellens Garden Festival before, then make it a date for your diary this year! This soulful annual community Summer event, set in the beautiful gardens of Hellens Manor in the village of Much Marcle in Herefordshire, has everything you might want in a weekend away, from crafts, live music, talks, demos, good food and an uplifting atmosphere. Visit the website for more info: https://hellensgardenfestival.co.uk
As part of your Hellens Garden Festival experience this year, join local natural voice leader and NVN member Sarah Rowe in singing with others in glorious harmony under the trees. A joyful experience and a fun and uplifting addition to your day.
All songs are taught by ear and sung without accompaniment. No previous singing experience is needed for the workshops: all voices and levels of singing experience welcome. At each workshop there will be new and different songs, so the more workshops you attend the more songs you will sing. Suitable for 7+ years.
Workshops are free with your festival entry and there is no need to book, just come along.
Workshops ‘Rousing Rounds’ The age-old singing form of the ‘round’ is easy to learn and great fun to sing, bringing us quickly into harmony with those around us. Join Sarah to weave often unexpected and always uplifting harmonies as we sing rounds from our own rich folk singing heritage, as well as from different cultures around the world.

Sarah leads two natural voice harmony singing groups for adults called ‘Sing For The Seasons’. With an emphasis on relaxation and enjoyment, Sarah creates a safe and supportive singing environment where everyone regardless of experience and ability can grow in confidence in sharing their voices, and where the benefits to our well-being of singing together can be felt.
‘Sing For The Seasons’ is held on a Saturday evening once a month in Castlemorton, south Worcestershire, and also once a month on a Sunday evening in Putley, near Ledbury in south-east Herefordshire. You can find more details about both groups, including when, where, how much and how to book on the NVN choir listing pages on this website, or by contacting Sarah directly:
