AcaBella

Description

This is a group for upper voices and has 25 members who come from Ben Rhydding, Ilkley, Burley, Otley, Guiseley and Leeds. We sing for pleasure and well-being, and we perform around 2 – 3 times a year, often to raise funds for the UK charity “Give A Child A Hope” which supports the Revival Centre, Matugga, Uganda. We sing a varied repertoire from around the world, including original songs and arrangements by Natural Voice Leaders. New members are always welcome.

An all – female Acapella community choir, exploring a wide variety of styles and genres.

Acapellies

Location

Stroud

Description

Acapellies is a non-auditioned community choir based in Stroud.
It has been running for 7 years and has recently developed into a 3 and 4-part performance choir.
The repertoire is mostly polyphonic songs from around the world.
Acapellies has been performing The Gratitude Project and Songs of Fortitude in response to the covid pandemic and the breakdown in community.
It is currently full with a long waiting list.

Akabella

Description

Akabella is a small, happy, long-running community choir of about 15 members which has been singing in and around West Wiltshire for 27 years, the first community choir in the area. We sing all kinds of songs from all over the world, often in arrangements by co-leaders Dave King and Lisa Otter-Barry. Akabella is open to anyone when we have a vacancy.
