Additional information

Cath has established and led many singing groups and choirs including Govanhill Voices, Linwood Sings,  Noteworthy Women, Still We Rise choir for survivors of violence against women and Joyous Choir, a community integration choir with women in the asylum system. Currently she works as a somewhat accidental civil servant with too much day-job and too many children for weekly choir leading. These days she mainly hosts Kitchen Table Singing, an informal monthly singing space held at her home in East Ayrshire, which has become a singing community. She also leads one-off workshops by request, an annual singing retreat for women and occasional singing fundraisers. She enjoys  hosting and supporting other songleaders.

Cath enjoys sharing songs from many different musical traditions, chosen for and with each group she leads. Above all though, she loves singing for the sake of song, helping people to enjoy their voices in the company of others.
