These weekends have been steeping for several years now and I’m grateful indeed to be able to make another invitation, returning to the grand seascape of Trefacwn and Ty Sanctaidd. Sharing days and nights together allows for the crafting of beauty soaked, heart full encounters with all manner of sustenance and sustaining practice woven through the songs, our days calling forth something of a human and culture making spirit. A rich basket of harmonies and lyrics which notice the world we’re part of and the seasons we are shaped by. Evenings recall something of ‘the old ways’ – a ceilidh in its old remembering – sheltering under one roof while darkened skies stretch without, a welcome for your stories, poems, tunes, songs, cherished memories with attendant laughter, tears and inspiration. May it be that the kith-and-kin-feel to our coming together stirs all manner of restoration.

The weekend comprises of singing sessions Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons with a generous space in the afternoon to rest, plunge in the natural pool or meet surrounding landscapes. Evenings of fireside storying, singing, music making.

TUTORING CONTRIBUTION

I’m asking for contributions of between £150 and £350 per person as a reflection of weeks of preparation as well as contributing to Ty Sanctaidd, artists and people whose songs and histories we work with.

Being able to participate is precious to me and I am aware that we all have such different financial circumstances.

Please DO let me know if the lower amount is too much – lets work something out together. I’m trying to work creatively within a tragic and restrictive economic system and I deeply appreciate living this exploration with you.

STAYING AT TREFACWN

A bed with full board, with wholesome, lovingly prepared meals for all diets, organic and locally sourced where doable.
