Southfields Sings! is a friendly (non-auditioned) community choir who currently meet on Tuesday evenings, during term-time in Southfields.

We sing songs from a variety of world cultures and folk traditions, all a cappella and in harmony.

The choir is a warm and wonderful bunch. There are no auditions, all that is needed is a love of singing.

Our repertoire encompasses songs of freedom, love, lament, celebration and lullabies.

Those who wish to, have the opportunity to perform at events within the local community.

Southsea Songbirds meets on Tuesday afternoons during term time 1.30pm – 3pm
We are a 30 plus all ladies choir.
We sing a wide variety of songs including pop, folk, gospel and worldwide songs.
The Songbirds have formed great friendships over the 10 years they have been together and we laugh a great deal as well as sing.
We perform anually at a charity Christmas concert and also some informal outdoor singing during the summer.
£5 per week and you can pay half termly subs or on the door.

Spectrum is Devon’s first choir for LGBTQ+ people (and our friends and family) who enjoy singing.

We are an inclusive and welcoming community choir – there is no audition and you don’t need to read music. We perform a few times a year but our main aims are to have fun together, to sing uplifting songs and to build and celebrate our community.

Cost is £8 – £10 (self determined sliding scale) – please ask if you require a further concession

A daytime earthy, elemental sing in an exquisite Celtic style roundhouse

Far from road and phone signal, this is a delicious immersion of voices with land and all her inhabitants. The Spirit House is built by volunteers in the style of a bronze-age roundhouse. She loves to be sung! We end with an optional bring a dish to share feast.

This happens monthly on a Monday – to add to the mystery which Monday of the month changes – get in touch if you’re thinking of coming.
