Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a choir outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Dairsie Community Singers

Location

Memorial Hall, Main Street, Dairsie, Fife. KY15 4SS

Description

We sing simple, unaccompanied rounds and part-songs from a range of traditions and cultures. No need to have previous experience or to be able to read music as all songs are taught by ear. What brings us together is the love of singing and hearing our voices in harmony. Listening to how our voices blend with others is rewarding and we also sometimes enjoy improvisation in a very non-threatening way. Everyone is very welcome.

Dances of Universal Peace (Cambridge)

Location

Hartington Grove Friends' Meeting House, Cambridge, CB1 7UB

Description

Not a choir but singers and dancers who gather for Dances of Universal Peace on the first Friday of the month.  Dances of Universal Peace (or DUP) are circle dances which embody a sense of unity, presence and compassion.  They are sung dances, offer an open, deep and joyful way to connect with your heart, or the sacred, or the sense of the divine – however you perceive this to be.

Led by Cathy Kassam, we dance a rich variety of Dances of Universal Peace and occasionally other circle dance.  I am a mentored dance leader in training and usually share dances at this lovely session.   All welcome – just drop in or message me for more information.
