If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

Sing Ahoy! Dursley Sea Shanty and Folk Choir

Description

Join Sing Ahoy as we sing rousing shanties, joyous celebration songs, haunting laments and catchy ditties. Traditional and contemporary folk songs from our own fair isles and from other cultures around the world, taught in 2 and 3 part harmony with many original arrangements
There’s a place for you in the choir, regardless of your singing ability. Whether you’re uncertain and need some support from your fellow singers as you learn the songs, or a confident singer you are welcome here. There are no auditions as we believe singing is for everyone.

Led by Pearl Legay-Clarke, leader who also leads Stroud Folk Choir,

There is the option of joining  sessions will be open on a drop in basis.

Children and teens are welcome to come along with a responsible adult. We are keen to keep this a fun space for all so I ask that the children who come are keen to sing (or to listen to the singing if they are littl’uns), there is a break out room if you need a space to tend to your child.

Costs:
£8 per adult
£3.50 per child over 5 years

I know that people are experiencing financial burden at the moment so if you’d like to come but are struggling then please just have a word with me and we can agree a concessionary rate that is comfortable for you.

Sing Anyway! – Malvern U3A

Location

Malvern Rugby Club, Spring Lane, Malvern WR14 1AJ

Description

Wonderful harmony singing for all voices. Friendly, informal and fun. We sing all sorts of songs with glorious harmonies. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or ability. All the songs are taught by ear so there’s no need to read music. You can simply come along and share the joy of singing together in harmony!
Membership of Malvern U3A is necessary to join this group. Please see Malvern U3A website for details.

Description

A free opportunity to feel uplifted by singing together!

For anyone looking to improve or maintain their mental health and wellbeing, no previous singing experience necessary, no need to read music – “if you can talk, you can sing!”

In partnership with North Lakes Recovery College, an ‘all ability’ singing group for anyone who enjoys singing along to their favourite tunes, to those already singing in groups.
