Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a choir outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Eden Songsters

Location

Eden Centre, Four Elms Road, Edenbridge TN8 6BY

Description

The Eden Songsters are a Community Choir who meet for fun and wellbeing. We sing a wide range of simple part songs, including folk traditions from Britain and around the world, designed to lift the spirits or touch the soul. Above all, we aim to create an atmosphere of fellowship and fun which comes from singing in a supportive group. Although we work on songs from week to week, our sessions are intended as a drop-in so people just turn up when they can. Everyone is welcome and you don’t need experience of singing in a choir or ability to read music. We just hope you will leave feeling fulfilled and with a smile on your face.

Session times

Wednesdays 2.00 - 3.30 pm

Edinburgh Singing Mamas

Location

Edinburgh – contact Kim for details

Description

This group is a relaxed, supportive space focused on women’s wellbeing. You don’t need to have or bring children to come along!

We have lots of babies and toddlers at the group but the focus is on the adults (no nursery rhymes in sight!) and providing a nourishing, relaxed environment. Somewhere to let go, and recharge.

They are a safe space where it’s ok to be real – to talk about the highs and lows of life and / or parenting, and everything is welcomed.

There’s no need to be musical or have any singing experience. Anyone can come. We keep things simple – everything is learnt by ear, and when everyone’s comfortable we add in a harmony of two. There’s no sheet music, or words to learn. The focus is not on sounding amazing – though we often do!

Come and try out a session – the first one is always free. And we provide discounted options if cost is in any way a barrier.

Eosau

Location

Hahav Well-being Centre, Plas Antaron, Southgate, Aberystwyth SY23 1SF

Description

We are funded by Credu, the Welsh charity supporting carers.  Our original members are carers and we have now opened up to welcome everyone.  It is free to attend.

Eosau is the Welsh word for Nightingales, chosen after our favourite song about nightingales.

“It’s wonderful being able to have some time out from being a carer,  singing, chatting and exercising with other people for a while, and Iona always makes it feel easy and undemanding, which is just what you need!” – Jill

“Singing makes me feel better and happier and when I am feeling better and happier I can cope better with the day to day stresses of caring.
Meeting with others who ‘get it’ means there is no pressure to be coping or anything other than who I am. ” – Megan

Session times

Alternate Fridays 11am - 12.30pm.
